National Scrutiny Week 2021 – celebrating the impact of working in partnership

September 14th 2021

Tpas is hosting a whole interactive week (27 September – 1 October 2021) to support tenants and landlords to celebrate the impact of working in partnership to scrutinise services.

During the week, Tpas will encourage members and the wider sector to showcase scrutiny groups, panel members, chairs, projects and stories.

As a Tpas member, we know that scrutiny can have a massive impact. During the week we will be talking about recruitment, the importance of scrutiny, opportunities for tenants and more.

Service Lead, Tenant Voice, Janine Greenall, said;

“Scrutiny is a great opportunity for tenants to review our services and make recommendations for improvements for all tenants.

“Our Scrutiny Panel work independently to research a specific topic in depth to see if there are areas of improvement. These improvements could result in money saved, services changed or training programmes introduced.

“They scrutinise and report on Torus’ services, holding Torus to account by challenging Service Teams to improve performance by identifying areas for improvement and offering recommendations. The tenant’s perspective is an important part of this process.”
