Our sheltered housing offers:
Secure, comfortable and easy to maintain apartments. Each with spacious communal areas and gardens, along with the opportunity to socialise with other residents, plus:
- Support through a professional scheme manager service (Monday – Friday).
- 24/7 emergency alarm system linked through to an emergency call centre.
- Community room.
- Access to a reliable repairs service.
- One and two bedroom apartments available (scheme dependent).
- Affordable rent.
- Some schemes include guest suites, visiting hairdressers, private parking, communal laundry.
Dedicated over 55s schemes, do not have a dedicated scheme manager.

Ellerbrook House - a popular independent living complex close to the centre of Ormskirk. We also let a small percentage of our homes directly to prospective customers. These homes, including those of the over 55s, are let on a first-come first-served basis to eligible customers.

Who can apply?
Anyone over the age of 55 can apply for a sheltered scheme apartment.
If you know someone age 55 or over who may be looking to move to a safe, secure and comfortable home with people their own age, then help spread the word.
Properties are allocated in line with the relevant Local Authority Allocations Policy.
